To understand how cells work and what goes wrong in diseases, we study how proteins interact with each other and other molecules. By using methods like cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography, we uncover detailed structures that can help develop better treatments. These insights allow us to target molecular interactions disrupted in diseases for more effective therapeutic approaches.
