Biography

Subhangi Subudhi is a PhD Scholar at IISER Berhampur investigating protein-protein interactions in bacterial defense systems using structural bioinformatics and cryo-electron microscopy. Her research focuses on genome-wide identification of target binding sites through CRP overexpression in Synechocystis strains, and structural disorder prediction in Drosophila melanogaster proteins.

With an M.Tech in Bioinformatics from University of Hyderabad (9.14 GPA) and B.Tech in Biotechnology from GGSIP University (8.60 GPA), Subhangi has developed strong expertise in molecular biology techniques including protein purification, molecular cloning, and bacterial transformation. Her professional experience includes internships at SUN Pharma and academic research projects on protease-producing microorganisms.

Proficient in both experimental and computational approaches, Subhangi combines skills in structural bioinformatics, molecular docking, and biostatistics with advanced laboratory techniques to elucidate molecular mechanisms in microbial systems.
